Phil Hogan

Ceist:

71 Deputy Phil Hogan asked the Minister for Health and Children if the Health Service Executive sought expressions of interest in December 2007 and July 2008 for the provision of primary care centres for primary care teams; if the terms and conditions of the leasing arrangements stipulate that the HSE will only sign a lease with a landlord when general practitioner involvement in providing services from the primary care teams accommodated in the centre has been agreed; the optimum and minimum number of general practitioners per primary care centre, in view of the fact that the primary care strategy makes it clear that the presence of general practitioners is critical to the entire concept of the primary care centres; and the rationale used by the HSE in determining these figures.
