121 Deputy Phil Hogan asked the Minister for Health and Children the position regarding the draft guidelines for Article 9 and 10 of the framework convention for tobacco control; if she supports the draft guidelines for Article 9 and 10 of the framework convention for tobacco control; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Draft guidelines for the implementation of Articles 9 and 10 of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control are to be presented to the 4th Conference of the Parties in November. EU comments are being co-ordinated by the Council Health Working Party, to which my Department has submitted observations.
