734 Deputy Richard Bruton asked the Minister for Health and Children if she has carried out an assessment of the position of persons who suffered serious damage as a result of the provision of vaccines; and if she is considering the introduction of a scheme of compensation for such victims. My Department is currently examining the recommendations of the Vaccine Damage Steering Group in detail and expects to have proposals for my consideration later this year. The report has been published on my Department's website and is available to download (www.dohc.ie).
