I am informed by the Garda authorities that a Garda Family Liaison Officer has been appointed to liaise with the family referred to and they are being kept apprised of developments to the greatest extent possible. The family will continue to be updated on the progress of the investigation.

Amharc ar fhreagraI am informed by the Garda authorities that the incident referred to by the Deputy occurred in Clontarf Garda Sub-District. A senior investigating officer has been appointed, and the investigation is ongoing. Garda liaison is being maintained with the parties affected. As the matter is under investigation, it would be inappropriate for me to comment further at this time.
