147 Deputy Seán Ó Fearghaíl asked the Minister for Transport if he will consider the points raised in correspondence (details supplied); if he will give an assurance that classic cars, which are off road or under restoration, will not be liable for motor tax; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The question of liability for motor tax for classic cars whether they are off road or under restoration is not the responsibility of my Department. I have no function in the matter.
