202 Deputy Noel Grealish asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation the number of employees in his Department who have expressed an interest in retiring ahead of the changes to the public sector pension schemes that are to come into force in 2012; and if he will make a statement on the matter. To date in 2011, 12 staff members have retired from my Department and 16 more have indicated their intention to retire before the end of February 2012. A number of other staff have made enquiries about retiring, however they have not indicated their intentions at this stage.
