395 Deputy Gerry Adams asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the salaries and allowances paid to his private secretary and to the secretary general of his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5022/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraI have appointed a civil servant at Executive Officer grade as my private secretary. The private secretary is paid in accordance with the Executive Officer pay scale and the post also carries a gross annual allowance of €20,685. The Secretary General of my Department receives a gross annual salary of €188,640.
