324 Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation the number of retired public servants who have been re-hired in his Department during the period of April 2011 to April 2012; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25235/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraDuring the period of April 2011 to April 2012, I appointed two retired public servants to act as Civilian Drivers at my Department. I also re-appointed the former Director of Corporate Enforcement to the post of Acting Director of Corporate Enforcement with effect from 29 February 2012 for a period of up to six months. No further retired public servants/civil servants were re-hired in my Department during that period.
