126 Deputy John Lyons asked the Minister for Social Protection if she will provide figures on the number of long-term unemployed persons who have taken part in the part-time job incentive scheme by year to date; and if she will provide the take up of the scheme on a constituency basis. [31512/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe information requested by the Deputy is not routinely collated by my Department. I am however informed that the number of participants on the Part-Time Job Incentive Scheme is manually collated on a regional basis in October and April each year. At the end of April 2012 there were 193 participants on the scheme. The following tables detail the number of participants of the scheme by county at 30 April 2012, and the total number of participants of the scheme at 31 October in each of the preceding five years:
