Deputy Anthony Lawlor asked the Minister for Education and Skills if he will provide details of the number of new teachers who were hired and commenced employment in primary and post primary schools since September 2012; if details will be provided of the number of teachers who had availed of the early retirement scheme last February but to date continue to teach in primary and post primary school; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
