944. Deputy Luke 'Ming' Flanagan asked the Minister for Justice and Equality when he will appoint a new board to the Private Security Authority; the reason for the delay thus far; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17173/13]
Amharc ar fhreagraIn preparation for the appointment of a new Board, I sought Expressions of Interest for membership on the Board through the websites of my own Department and that of the Public Appointments Service. As the Deputy will appreciate, while it can be a time consuming process completing the necessary formalities, I expect to be in a position to confirm the names of the new Board members in the near future.
