391. Deputy Michael Ring asked the Minister for Social Protection when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive a decision regarding their carer's benefit application; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [21388/14]
Amharc ar fhreagraI confirm that the Department received an application for carer’s benefit from the person in question on 24 February 2014. The person concerned has been awarded Carer’s Benefit. She was notified of this decision on 23 April 2014, with her first payment including arrears issuing on 1 May 2014.
