242. Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for Education and Skills when a primary school (details supplied) in County Mayo may expect a decision on its emergency funding application; if he will expedite the application in view of the time constraints affecting this particular case; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The school in question recently submitted an application for funding for toilet facilities for a special needs pupil under my Department's Emergency Works Scheme. The scope of the proposed works is currently being assessed and the school authorities will be notified of the outcome once this assessment has been completed.
