Deputy Michael Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the reason disadvantaged area scheme and single payment scheme payments for 2014 have not yet issued in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Mayo, in view of the fact that his Department officials could not explain the reason for the delay in payment as there is no apparent reason on file. Amharc ar fhreagraAn application under the 2014 Single Payment Scheme/Disadvantaged Areas Scheme was received from the person named on 3 April 2014. Processing of this application has recently been finalised and payments under both Schemes have recently issued. Payment under the Single Farm Payment issued on 30 October 2014 and payment under the Disadvantaged Area Scheme issued on 6 November 2014, both directly to the nominated bank account of the person named.
