I was delighted to announce an allocation of €8,002 for the club in question under the 2014 Sports Capital Programme towards the purchase of sports equipment.
The grant has not yet been drawn down. The club has been in contact with my officials in Killarney and are being advised on how best to proceed with the drawdown.
It is also open to the club to apply under any future rounds of the Sports Capital Programme. The Sports Capital Programme does not fund the purchase of land.
