Deputy John Deasy asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation if he will provide a breakdown of the number of public sector workers under the aegis of his Department who have been approved for inter or intradepartmental or agency work transfers, both to and from County Waterford, in each of the past five years. Amharc ar fhreagraI can advise the Deputy that my Department does not have offices in County Waterford. My Department’s records indicate that, with the exception of two staff who transferred to another government department with offices in County Waterford under the Government’s decentralisation programme in place at the time (one Clerical Officer in 2009 and one Executive Officer in 2010), there have been no other transfers in or out of my Department to offices located in County Waterford in the past five years. I have asked all Agencies under the aegis of my Department to advise me of any transfers which have taken place into and out of County Waterford, and I will communicate that information to the Deputy as soon as it is available.
