35. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection the extent of any payment being made available in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4094/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraA claim for child benefit was received from the person concerned on 23/01/2015 in respect of two children, following the death of their mother. The claim has been processed and is awarded with effect from February 2015. Payment will be lodged to her nominated account on Tuesday, 3 February.
The person concerned is also receiving a supplementary welfare payment of €40.60 per week at present.
