386. Deputy Dominic Hannigan asked the Minister for Health the amount spent by his Department in legal fees in 2012, 2013 and 2014 in appealing decisions taken by the High Court; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20162/15]

The Department in general, avails of legal services and advice from the Office of the Attorney General and the Office of the Chief State Solicitor. If there is a particular case that the Deputy requires details for, please contact me again and I will investigate further. I will revert to the deputy with the total legal costs for the Department for 2014 as soon as possible.
