54. Deputy Noel Coonan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection when an application for carer's allowance will be finalised for a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [22809/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe application for carer's allowance in respect of the person concerned was awarded on 24th March 2015 and the first payment was issued to the post office on 26th March 2015. Arrears of allowance due from 13th November 2014 to 18th March 2015 were issued by cheque on the 13th April 2015. The person in question was notified of this decision on the 24th of March 2015.
