55. Deputy Michelle Mulherin asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection the status of an appeal against the refusal of disability allowance for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo; if it will be expedited; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [22814/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe application, based upon the evidence submitted, was refused on medical grounds and the person in question was notified in writing of this decision on 14 May 2015.
The department received a request from the person concerned on 9 June 2015 to open an appeal in this case. This request has been forwarded to the Social Welfare Appeals Office.
