5. Deputy Paul J. Connaughton asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection when an application for a review under the farm assist income support scheme by a person (details supplied) in County Galway will be concluded; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [35181/15]

The person concerned is currently in receipt of a farm assist payment. Based on new information received a review of the means involved will be carried out by a social welfare inspector in due course as part of the inspector’s caseload.
