6. Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection the reason a payment for clothing to a person (details supplied) under the supplementary welfare allowance was refused; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [35201/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person concerned applied for a supplementary welfare allowance payment towards clothing on 5 November, 2014. This application was refused as no exceptional need was considered to exist. The person concerned was informed of and afforded the right to a review of this decision. The original decision of the designated person was upheld on review.
