360. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the number and percentage of applications for the 2015 sports capital programme which were valid and successful; valid and unsuccessful; invalid; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [36994/15]

A total of 1592 applications were assessed under the 2015 Sports Capital Programme, of which 891 (56%) were allocated funding, 135 (8.5%) were valid but did not receive funding and 566 (35.5%) were invalid.
