Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Minister for Health the status of the planned closure of the Coolevin unit in St. Mary's Hospital in the Phoenix Park in County Dublin, including the rationale for the closure and the alternatives that will be offered to the patients; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
