430. Deputy David Stanton asked the Minister for Education and Skills when she will provide a communications support as an aid to a profoundly deaf person (details supplied) in County Cork who has no access to sound via technology; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2906/16]

My Department has approved payment of a grant to provide communication supports to the child referred to by the Deputy. A letter of sanction of this grant has issued to the school concerned.
