320. Deputy Michael Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to outline the status of an application by a person (details supplied) in County Cork under the basic payment scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6013/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraAn application under the 2015 Basic Payment Scheme was received from the person named on 29 May 2015. During processing of the application over claims were identified in respect of a number of the parcels declared, and payment issued on 12 January 2016 with a reduction penalty. Following receipt of an appeal, this case has since been reviewed and the penalty was overturned. On this basis a supplementary payment will issue to the person named in the coming days.
