69. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection the status of an application by a person (details supplied) in County Kerry under the disability allowance scheme; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [5858/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe application for disability allowance (DA) from the person in question, based upon the evidence submitted, was refused on medical grounds and the person concerned was notified in writing of this decision on 14 January 2016.
Further evidence was received on 5 February 2016 and this is currently being reviewed by a deciding officer. Once a decision has been made, the person concerned will be notified directly in writing.
