Deputy Michael Moynihan asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the reason for the centralisation of An Post sorting offices from rural post offices to central locations; if a detailed study was carried out to justify these changes; her views on the impact of these changes on other post offices in the areas affected; if these implications were taken into account; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
