183. Deputy Niamh Smyth asked the Minister for Education and Skills to outline the reason a school (details supplied) has not received grant aid for the provision of an extra classroom; the status of this application; when moneys are likely to be granted; if he will review same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm to the Deputy that an application for additional accommodation was received from the school referred to. My Department is assessing the application and a decision will be conveyed directly to the school authorities as soon as the assessment process has been completed.
