628. Deputy Noel Rock asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the actions his Department is taking to protect against cyber attacks after the NTMA website was temporarily down for several hours after a suspected hacking attack; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6889/17]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department is currently reviewing the websites under its remit for exposure to similar vulnerabilities. Cybersecurity is considered very important in my Department and is regularly reviewed as a matter of course. We are in regular contact with the National Cyber Security Centre in relation to cybersecurity issues.
