Ceisteanna (629)

Michael Harty

Ceist:

629. Deputy Michael Harty asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if the recent spate of accidents on the M18 between Crusheen and Gort is solely caused by speeding drivers through localised hail showers or if there are any design, construction or maintenance issues which may be responsible for recurring problems on this stretch of motorway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This is entirely a matter for Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII). I am forwarding the question to that agency for direct reply. If you do not hear from TII within 10 working days please contact my office.

The referred reply under Standing Order 42A was forwarded to the Deputy.
