128. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Education and Skills the position regarding the provision of a new school at a location (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12600/17]
Amharc ar fhreagraI can confirm to the Deputy that my Department is not in receipt of a current application for capital funding from the school referred to by the Deputy. Any application received will be assessed in the context of current competing priorities and the need to prioritise available funding for essential classroom accommodation where additional teachers are being appointed.
