237. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport his plans to use similar online technology recently launched for passport renewals for the renewal of driving licences; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22190/17]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe operation of the National Driver Licensing Service, including the modes of application for a driving licence, is the statutory responsibility of the Road Safety Authority. I have therefore referred the Question to the Authority for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
