609. Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Education and Skills if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the file of a person (details supplied) has been mislaid by his Department; if he will ensure that his officials recover the file as soon as possible; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department maintains about 120,000 files in its payroll section. Following a thorough search by the section I can confirm that the file referred to has now been located and copies of the relevant documents have been forwarded to the person referred to by the Deputy.
