Deputy Maurice Quinlivan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation for the details of the fines that have been imposed by the EU on the State for the late implementation of EU law that comes under the remit of her Department in each of the years 2007 to 2016 and to date in 2017, in tabular form. I am pleased to inform the Deputy that no fines have been imposed by the EU on the State, in respect of the late transposition of EU Directives coming under the remit of my Department, during the period 2007 to 2016, nor to date in 2017.
