156. Deputy Alan Kelly asked the Minister for Education and Skills if Tipperary Education and Training Board, ETB, was offered the use of the old Thurles town council offices for training purposes; and if so, the reason it was turned down. [41355/17]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe identification and management of premises for ETB services are a matter for the ETB itself. In light of the question raised by the Deputy, the ETB informed my Department that the Thurles Town Council premises are not suitable or big enough for Tipperary ETB's requirements, given the nature of the industrial type training due to be carried out from the Thurles Centre.
