Amharc ar fhreagraI understand that the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) is a body established in 1981, to identify, develop and maintain professional standards of excellence in counselling and psychotherapy. In this context it provides a range of services, including accreditation to some 4,000 members who operate within these disciplines in the healthcare sector. My Department plays no role in the management or regulation of the Association.
