727. Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Health the extra allocation of funding approved in the estimates recently for the national ambulance service in 2018; the improvements that will arise in the service as a result of the extra investment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm that additional funding will be made available for the continued development of the National Ambulance Service in 2018. The detail of this additional funding will be outlined in the National Service Plan 2018.
