Deputy James Lawless asked the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to proposed developments at St. Catherine's Park, Leixlip, County Kildare; if directions have been issued to the three relevant local authorities involved (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe Leixlip Local Area Plan 2017-2023 is currently being finalised under the provisions of section 20 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended). I have made submissions to Kildare County Council in relation to the Local Area Plan in my role as a statutory consultee in the Local Area Plan preparation process.
The decision of Kildare County Council on the Leixlip Local Area Plan is awaited and it would therefore be inappropriate for me to comment further at this time.
