287. Deputy Joan Burton asked the Minister for Education and Skills if he has appointed a design team for the required refurbishment and extension to a school (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10133/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department is committed to providing a permanent accommodation solution for the school referred to by the Deputy. In that regard, a building project for the school to which he refers is included on my Department's 6 year Construction Programme. In the context of progressing the building project, my Department has undertaken a site visit to the school. The next step includes the formulation of the accommodation brief for the project and this process is in train. My Department will be liaising with the school in due course in the context of initiating the architectural planning process for the project.
