81. Deputy John Brady asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection if her Department's review of the current maintenance and liable relative procedures for lone parents has been finalised; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [26576/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department is now reviewing the current maintenance and liable relative procedures, insofar as they relate to the one-parent family payment scheme administered by my Department, and work is ongoing on this review. This will necessitate my Department liaising with the Department of Justice and Equality as the Department responsible for the Family Law Acts, which govern family maintenance arrangements.
