134. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Justice and Equality if the case of a person (details supplied) dismissed from their employment will be examined; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27058/18]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs Minister, neither I nor my Department have responsibility for the terms and conditions of employment of a person (including the person concerned) by a company or contractor providing services to the Department. All such employments are matters between the contractor and the employee. Terms and conditions must be in full accordance with the law and any issues arising on that front should be referred to the relevant authorities. Typically, employer/employee disputes are handled by the Workplace Relations Commission.
