2418. Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Minister for Rural and Community Development the amount paid for consultancy services in each of the years from 2012 to 2017; the details of these payments; the companies that received the payments; the amount received by each company; the hourly rates that applied to each company; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department was established on 19 July 2017. During the period from that date until the end of 2017, the following payments were made in relation to consultancy services:

€18,819 to Elevate Strategies

€49,749 to Indecon

Therefore the total expenditure incurred in that timeframe was €68,568

Hourly rates were not applicable in either case.
