The Deputy will be aware that my Department provides a wide range of resources and supports to DEIS schools each year. I wish to advise the Deputy that it is not possible to accurately calculate the average cost of a school in the DEIS Programme. This is due to the fact that the level of resources provided to DEIS schools is dependent on their level of disadvantage as well as their overall enrolment. As referenced above, the full list of supports is available on my Departments website.
