Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Education and Skills the status of an application for large scale funding under the school building programme by a school (details supplied); the reason this application has been ongoing for so long; and the steps he will take to have same addressed. Amharc ar fhreagraThe Deputy will be aware that a building project for the school in question is included in my Department's 6 year Construction Programme.
Preparatory work has been initiated to develop the accommodation brief for the project and my Department will continue to liaise directly with the school authority concerned in the context of progressing the project through the architectural planning process.
