Deputy Alan Kelly asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the political advisers being used by senior and junior Ministers by his Department since the commencement of this Government; the commencement dates of the employment of each; and the cessation dates of same employment in cases in which that applies. Amharc ar fhreagraI wish to inform the Deputy that non-civil service appointments in my Department are made in line with “Instructions to Personnel Officers - Ministerial Appointments for the 32nd Dáil”, which include “Guidelines on staffing of Ministerial offices” issued by my Department.
The details of each Special Adviser appointment I have made to a role in the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform are shown in the following table.
