Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Rural and Community Development the reason an action (details supplied) under the Action Plan for Rural Development was not delivered by the timeline committed to; the revised timeline by quarter and year for delivery of this action; if no revised timeline has been set to date, the reason therefor; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe action in question falls under the remit of my colleague, the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government, Eoghan Murphy, T.D.
However, an update on this action was included in the Second Progress Report on the Action Plan for Rural Development which was published in May 2018 and which is available on my Department's website at: https://drcd.gov.ie/wp-content/uploads/APRD-Second-Progress-Report-Final-PDF.pdf.
A further update will be provided in the next Progress Report on the Action Plan which will be published shortly.
