597. Deputy Jim O'Callaghan asked the Minister for Rural and Community Development the number of staff in his Department and bodies under his aegis appointed to principal officer arising from internal competitions since 7 July 2015, by year. [41848/18]

I can confirm that the Department held one internal Principal Officer competition in early 2018. Two staff members have been appointed to Principal Officer positions arising from this competition.
