Ceist:

455. Deputy Maureen O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport his views on whether it is appropriate that the National Driver Licence Service charges a fee of €35 to replace stolen licences in cases in which the holder of the licence has a crime reference from gardaí; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This is a matter for the Road Safety Authority. I have referred the question to the Authority for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response is not received within ten days.

A referred reply was forwarded to the Deputy under Standing Order 42A
