Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Health the reason there has been no national roll-out of an eye care scheme for children aged more than eight years, in which children are discharged to community optometry in view of the success of same in the Tipperary north and Limerick mid-west region; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
